Measuring the operation efficiency of car dealer in Taiwan by using Data Envelopment Analysis

Automotive purchasing power is an important indicator of a country's economic development, recently the domestic car-sale market are shrinking .In additional,it face more competitive envorinment, It is essential to enhance the competitive strength in domestic auto industry ,and developing the more effective enterprise resource allocation method. In this study, based on a car dealer in Taiwan the objective productivity original data, the use of data envelopment analysis, analysis of the relative efficiency of various business locations .Technical efficiency of the study in 2011 in the automotive industry, with 11 business liaison and decision-making unit (DMU), I will use CCR model which proffered by Charnes et al., (1978),explaining the reasons for inefficient automobile industry, by efficiency changes among by the evaluated manufacturers, and try to generalize the problems that may arise, and further proposed to improve the management recommendations.
